On December 22, 2025, Huayan Technology and South China University of Technology solemnly held the signing and unveiling ceremony for the “Joint Laboratory for High-Performance Thermal Management Design and Manufacturing” at the Qiankun Run Songhu Hotel in Songshan Lake, Dongguan. Attending and witnessing this significant moment were Huayan Technology's Chairman Xu Xuhui, Vice Presidents Nie Weida, Lu Jiang, and Nie Xiaolan, alongside university representatives including Jiang Hai, Vice Dean of the Research Institute, and Lei Yusheng, Secretary of the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, along with faculty members.
At the ceremony, presided over by Tan Yalong, Director of Human Resources and Administration at Huayan Technology, representatives from both parties signed the cooperation agreement and jointly unveiled the laboratory. This collaboration marks not only a significant milestone in industry-academia-research integration but also represents Huayan Technology's pivotal strategic shift from a “precision manufacturing expert” to a “system solutions leader” as it embraces the computing power era.
With the explosive growth of AI computing power, efficient thermal management has become a core bottleneck constraining industrial development. The joint laboratory will focus on cutting-edge areas such as the design of electronic intelligent thermal control modules to tackle thermal challenges across applications from data centers to new energy vehicles. By establishing a rapid transformation loop where “demand drives R&D, and R&D feeds back into production,” the laboratory will accelerate the efficient industrialization of frontier technologies.
This collaboration deeply integrates the robust research capabilities of Huagong University with the industrial strengths of Huayan Technology. Through a joint development model, it not only provides technical support for solving real-world industrial challenges but also opens up a new business track for Huayan Technology in “high-performance thermal management,” injecting fresh momentum into the company's development.
